"Vista is a diamond in the rough. Full of diverse students from all backgrounds that make the high school experience more rewarding and unique."

"I had a very difficult time at VHS. Drugs and alcohol were rampant. Gangs were everywhere. The disabled were forced to pick up trash in the quad after lunch. Immature teachers' aides threw their weight around and sent kids to detention at a whim. Most of the teachers just didn't seem to care. It was basically day care for teenagers. Unless your kid is very mature and driven, I would avoid this school."

"Vista was an alright school. The academics, if you choose wisely, could be excellent. The teachers are usually rather involved, but there are many who are not. The food could hardly be deemed edible, let alone healthy. There are many clubs and activities to get involved in. There are several resources like the college and career center which are pretty helpful. It is pretty safe, but there can be small fights now and then. Overall there is room for improvement, but if academics is what you seek, Vista can fulfill that."

"My time here at Vista High School has been amazing and what I cherish about Vista is that you make connections with so many people who treat you like family and we all come from different backgrounds. What I also enjoy about Vista High School is the diversity of numerous ethnic groups and they all blend in together which you do not really see in various schools. What I would like to change is having all the ethnic groups being represented because having diversity is what makes Vista. So, by having all cultures represented I believe that it will unite Vista High School and make it home to all."
