"San Diego High School was an amazing experience for me. All of the students were very friendly towards each other. The International Baccalaureate program helped to give me an edge over many other students from San Diego. I highly recommend this school to all!"

"I am entering my senior year, and I enjoy coming to school everyday at San Diego High School of International studies. Although the diversity level is low (99% white), there are several clubs to appreciate other ethnicities and skin colors, which is awesome! The food is not good in any way, shape or form, but I appreciate that it is all provided which some people may need. The academics are high, but this is not schoolwide, it is only international studies, which I am fortunate for. I am the ASB president, and I notice that there is a lack of school culture and spirit throughout, but I plan to increase that to make the high school experience memorable. The safety side of it is around 50%, since it is in the center of downtown and the homeless population is increasing, and the surroundings are not ideal, but I feel safe inside of the school."

"Great place but hoped for more diversity, grear location with good facilities and the teachers feel like they what to teach us. The academics were not so impressing though"

"It's not at all a terrible school. The main problems with the school is the people. The students are highly unmotivated and there are some teachers that are unwilling to teach, so it makes learning a bit frustrating. Students are not put into their respective classes and the classes are not set up to ensure that students succeed (ie taking a student from a beginning French class where they are learning speak and write French sentences and putting them in the next level class where speaking is about 50% of their grade). Other than this problem, this school is a great place to start growing as an individual. The social aspect of this school is so open and very rewarding for those that attend."
