"I have spent three years in SciTech with my senior year right around the corner, and one thing I can say for certain is that there is no lack of encouragement when it comes to college. For the counselors and teachers alike they actually want the student to succeed. I'm an average A and B student but there are others who struggle and the staff at SciTech help them either after school or during lunch. Students there are very energetic when you get to know them. SciTech is divided in three academy's GeoTech which focuses on engineering and green technology, MedTech which focuses on Medicine and the Bioengineering and lastly ITech which focuses more on the entertainment industry such as the arts and journalism. Overall SciTech is a great school that has opened a door of opportunities for me, I recommend it to any students who are interested."

"San Diego High School Science & Technology does an exceptional job of preparing students for college or anyone trying to expand their education in general. One thing I was proud learning and doing a succesful job at was work ethic. The school of science and technology is really big on work ethic and really teaches students how to master it. One thing I would change would be how the school itself doesn't allow you to take classes that are offered at the other two schools within San Diego High. This restricts myself and a lot of other students participating in a lot of classes that aren't offered at SciTech itself."

"I like that high school because of their high level in medical fields and also they have a lot of field tripe's for Med Tech students, and in my opinion when student's visit many universities they can decide easier about their future thinks."

"San Diego High School of Science and Texhnology is a mainly Hispanic small school, a part of the bigger San Diego High School Educational Complex. Hence the name, our school focuses on various sciences and the technology that is now being incorporated into the various science fields. This school is very accommodating and helpful towards those who need it, for example the credit deficient students but, unfortunately, spends so much time trying to get those students up to speed that the students who are on track and anxious to get ahead often feel as though there's no place for them there. Many of the classes are very slow paced due to the low levels of the other students."

"I love my school but I think that they need to get the classes and schedules straight. We have core classes every other day and it gets confusing after a while. Especially if someone is struggling in one class."
