"The San Diego Metro Career & Tech High School is a mixed bag. On one hand, you have the opportunity to explore various internships and free college classes on Mesa College campus, and on the other students stay with the same homeroom teachers all four years at the Met (its nickname), and the math education is severely lacking. However, I always end the day grateful for the opportunity I've received as a student at the San Diego Met, despite its flaws (which I believe it will fix, as it is still a young school). Because of the Met, I am able to explore various internships and free college classes, and being able to do so at such a young age has truly helped me become a much more well-rounded, intelligent, and independent individual, who has a much better grasp of who they are and how they want to contribute to society than most."

"The San Diego Met High School is focused on preparing students for college and future careers. All of the teachers are great and they are there to help you learn and develop into a college-ready student. For four years you become accustomed to the campus of Mesa College and you can even take classes there as a part of The Met's program."

"I love this school so much. It has great internship opportunities and you get to take free college classes if you have good grades. I have grown so much since I have been attending this school."

"This is my three year at San Diego MET High School. When I was a Sophomore here, I decided that I wanted to move schools for personal reasons. So I gave it a try and moved to a regular neighborhood high school. Worst mistake ever. You see, the MET is unlike any other school in the simple sense that people actually care. Adults here actually want to see you succeed. I love this school more than anything. I love everyone that I am with on a daily basis. The greatest thing about this school is that it offers internships. This is great because it gives you an insight on what you truly want to do in the future."

"The teachers at my school are extremely present and aware. Being a senior, I have had great help with everything that I have to get done to prepare for my future. My teachers all support my dreams and remind me daily to follow them. I am grateful for each and every one of them to be part of my journey that from here on out only goes up."
