"It's been an interesting high school experience at Morse. I have so many firsts and have met so many people. Morse has gave me so many opportunities, and I am grateful for it. Morse has the best staff and teachers, they are willing to help students with almost anything. There were very few times I was unhappy with Morse, but the good times take up a majority. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to attend, because it gave me the chance to meet people of diversity."

"I love the diversity at Morse High School. I always feel comfortable with being a minority here at Morse. Morse can upgrade with resources for their students and for the teachers. The clubs and activities are very diverse as well, they are excellent. The counselors are not that helpful and are rarely at school, so that makes it difficult on a lot of students. The neighborhood does sometimes concern me, but other than that, Morse is a good school."

"Morse High School is a great school that gets a bad reputation from outsiders. When you get to be at the place for awhile, it becomes like a second home. The teacher said here are the best, they have great personalities, can connect with the students well, and also create a fun learning environment. The school is very diverse with Filipino, Hispanic, African American, Muslim, Chinese, Korean, Andrea many other races found in the student body. The clubs are fantastic and are various, with One World, Red Cross Club, and Environmental Club. The facilities are getting upgraded as I write this. We have a great sports culture, going to football and basketball games are a blast. The college readiness scale is a 3 stars because the counselors do an average job at really preparing the students for college, even though they are great in terms of providing advice and whatnot. Morse High School is great! Go check it out!"

"Being a fourth year student at Morse High School, I have experienced and seen enough to say that my school has endured plenty of criticism and publicity based on our negative aspects that are mostly regarding student violence and academics. The faculty and teachers are supportive, but essentially the underclassmen do not learn real world issues because they are stuck in a bubble of appeasement. What I would like to change about this school is the amount of concern and execution the staff would need and have to possess to keep the entire school under control without being too demanding or needy."

"As a student of Morse High School, my experience here allowed me to have the preparation I needed for higher education and life after school. Teachers choice the job because they care about the future generations and want them to succeed in fields that their own generation did not. The atmosphere of Morse is very vivid and support with one another. Morse High School contains various clubs and activities that are well-known or growing as well. Overall, Morse High School is a great school despite its reputation and should not be a hidden gem in San Diego."
