"Hoover High School stands out because of its diversity. Seeing others interact and get along from such diverse communities is truly astonishing. This school provides great resources.Teachers are a great source as well as the after school tutoring that is provided. One thing I would like to see a change in is school spirit and having a clean campus."

"The students are amazing and each have different personality's and never leave others feel alone. The programs that help students get on track of school, even the teacher's have a system for their classroom trying to keep their students on top."

"Many people I talk to think that Hoover is a "ghetto" school. I don't think that the school itself is ghetto, but yes, we do have some students who kind of embody the "hood" personality and make the school look a little bad. Hoover High is an amazing school despite this. I've developed amazing friendships and relationships at this school, and I'm never going to forget them."

"I think that this school is a pretty diverse school. It gives many opportunities to all students. As long as the student has a good mindset towards school, they will do good. Hoover has received a lot of negative attention over the years but Hoover is changing and becoming better every day. There is some stuff that can be worked on to make the campus better, but either way, it is still a great school and will only continue becoming greater with the help of the amazing staff, teachers, students, and community around Hoover High School."
