"I am a junior at Pacific High School and so far I have had an average experience. Pacific High School has good sports and clubs that add on to the students experience."

"What I like about Pacific High School, are the staff/teachers. As a student, I know that I can talk to any of my teachers without feeling uncomfortable. My teachers are always there when I need them and they show me that they care. I have by far enjoyed my three years at Pacific High School. It is an amazing school. The only thing I would change is the environment, the bathrooms need to be cleaned more often."

"To be honest this school is okay, it's not that great its not that bad, but joining clubs is actually fun because you get to meet new people and there are plenty of resources out there to help you go to college"

"My experience as a Pirate now has by far been epic from the Friday night football games to school dances and rallies. Your final year of high school you have so many high expectations like applying to colleges With all the heavy baggage you also have school staff working very hard during the year to help you be successful in life. Parent involvement is one thing that Pacific doesn't have. Parents only involve themselves when their is a bad situation other than that the parents at Pacific are more to themselves. Clubs that I'm mostly involved in are Student Government, Key Club, and Latino Student Union and all have positive role models that reflect towards lower class-men. There are so many more clubs that I believe are well put together but in my own experience in these clubs these are my most favorite. When I leave this upcoming year to venture off on my own I will always know that this all happened for me because of Pacific, they gave me the tools I needed to succeed."

"There are some very good teachers who genuinely want you to succeed, doing what they can with the limited resources they have--especially those teaching honors/AP courses. College preparation is highly emphasized, especially in their somewhat renowned (though limited/imperfect) AVID program. While unfortunately, a considerable portion of students simply do not care enough about their education--especially considering numerous possible different familial, social, and financial situations/backgrounds in a notably low income area--there is definitely potential to find success as a student given the circumstances. TLDR; far from being the best school, but some good, genuinely invested teachers, especially in honors/AP courses, save its potential, especially for the area it's in and the funding available."
