"My experience at Marina High School has been nothing short of amazing. I've had so many teachers who went out of their way to make sure that I got the help that I needed and was able to understand the material thoroughly. Furthermore, I've made so many new friends who've inspired and motivated me to constantly do my best and improve academically and personally. One thing I would like to see change at Marina is the spirit among students. I would like to see more student participation during spirit weeks and rallies."

"After attending Marina for only two years, it's already clear that the teachers, the academics, the students, and the staff here are simply amazing."

"Being at Marina High School for the past 4 years has given me the college readiness I needed to go into a cal state, which I like, since it has well prepared me. However, being college ready at this school by the time you get to your senior year is only capable if you either are in AP classes, like myself, or go further in depth with studying in your regular classes. I feel that Marina could improve with academics by helping those who are not taking AP classes, get the college readiness they need in order to be as prepared as someone in an AP class."

"The teachers are pretty involved with the students, and I think that the diversity of clubs helps people get involved more and gives students a chance to make new friends and get themselves out there. I think there are plenty of programs that ready the students for college."

"Marina is your average high school. You have your cliques, AP Suicide Squad, jocks, cheerleaders, you name it. The changes I'd like to see is the fact that students are so divided that there is such a lack of diversity. It is dominantly white. The clubs that celebrate diversity are practically empty."
