"The facilities here are older than the students, which isn't optimal when preparing students for success in the 21st century. Though, I have heard from teachers that there will be a multi-million dollar complete school renovation in a few years time. During my time here, I've been in the "honors bubble". Having all honors classes and a 4.0 GPA, has left me with a great middle school experience. However, once you leave the "honors bubble" it's like your cliche low fund public school. These classes are filled with disrespectful students who couldn't care less about their grades. Most students who fall in this "disrespectful" category talk over and back to teachers and have shown no interest in the following authority. The end of the year is utter chaos as well. There were at least three fights one day in early May. Of course, many students flocked to the scene with their cell phones on."

"My jr. high school experience satisfied my expectations. During my second year in jr high, I decided to join the men's tennis team, which was one of my proudest decisions I've made. The tennis community at Dale was like my second home. Although the tennis community at Dale were welcoming, it made it harder for me let them go when we gradated from jr high."

"Teachers working at Dale Jr. High School are well aware of the opportunities from technology. During my two years attending Dale as a student, I've noticed that most of my classes incorporate a remote system called "Quizdom". Students are able to submit their test answers by simply pressing a letter on the button. Teachers are also incorporate real life situations. For example, in my US history class, my teacher assigned an essay about the evolving rights of African Americans. Although the teachers are knowledgeable, the class environment is havoc. One of my classes, particularly English class, can't stop producing commotions, which stained my Jr. High School experience."

"The 8th grade year is definitly the hardest year out of the two. I have all honors classes and my teachers are challenging. At times, I feel like they all meet together and each assign projects at the same time as the others. I hope they don't but they are huge coincedences. When I participated in the basketball program, it was a hate and love relationship because there was too much pressure on me but I still loved playing of course. The only reason I would choose Dale if I could have a redo is because I met the most amazing friends of my life."

"The majority of the teachers at Dale go above and beyond for us but it hurts that not all of them actually do so, or try to do so."
