"As an upcoming senior in Katella High School, I would like to say that I know the school very well. The school offers many Advanced Placement classes and has many clubs to join but students do not seem very motivated to learn everyday. However, if students put in the effort to work, the teachers are more than willing to assist them, as proven by my personal experience."

"Katella High School is a great high school because the students are nice but one thing i didn't like about my school was that every time someone would get in fights or there would be some tagged walls at the Campos for no reason."

"I attended Katella High school myself. I loved that school it felt good waking up and wanting to go to school.Although I had problems at home I would rather much be at school! I felt very prepared for college they had a program called GEAR UP Mrs. URENO WAS AMAZING! they stuck with us until we graduated and helped us with financial aid, and introduced us to a different program at the college or example TAP (Transfer Achievement Program ) they were very big on colleges we went on field trips to UCR, CSUF. I wish they had that program when my sister was in college because it could have helped her very much. I now attend Fullerton College and work for a foster youth program on my campus. I loved Katella and the counselors there, they did an amazing job with the class of 2014!!"

"My experience so far at this campus has been wonderful and satisfactory in my opinion. The campus feels much safer with the gates (which aren't attractive), cleaner with the redone pavement, and environmentally beautiful with the added plants. Academics here are average. Welcoming people and much diversity. Some teachers are confusing, others are clear and straight out. There are also many clubs and activities here at Katella so if you ever have some extra time on your hands, there are many fun and beneficial extracurriculars that will easily fill up your schedule. Administration is okay; the principal can be negative sometimes and focuses more on football than on other sports. Other parts of the administration are welcoming and willing. Sports are one of the best in our league and sometimes do extremely well in CIF. They're time consuming and tiring but extremely fun once you play and get to know others. Food is okay but can get tiring and boring, and the facilities are great too."
