"The Majority of students in this school arn't interested in education. But their was few students like me who wanted to become something. But the big high schools around payed little attention to me and my struggles. In this school I was able to crack out of my shell and realize that I was as important. Theyre is this program called the Acedemic Decathlon and it is truley something amazing. I seriously learned more in those few months that I joined then my entire high school expirence. The school is small and unique because it takes all the students who have struggled in the past and makes us feel important and worth fighting for."

"The teachers at this school use real life situations to help struggling students understand the importance in education. Many of the students are rejected from regular high schools. I was a student falling threw the cracks in a big high school but when i went to this high school I didnt feel so small. I joined Acedemic Decathlon and even won a most improved award. The teaching style was pretty competitive. We would break up into groups and compete threw questionaires. We would also have pot lucks after we met after school. I beleive alot of teachers went above to make sure students that wanted to move foward got the attention they needed to get threw high school."
