"The School is overly focused on politics, its a constant running commercial for the Democratic Party. What do I mean? Every week there is a time slot called Community Block. It's always about subjects such as immigration, abortion, lgbt and they represent one view and brainwash the kids. If you want to discuss let kids discuss don't brainwash them. Religous studies absolutely suck, the teachers don't teach judiasm the idea they give over are all directly conflicting with jewsih philosophy and they only teach judiasm from a reform point of view. For a Jewish school not to have religous rabbis and the two only rabbis are Reform, how is this pluralistic?"

"I would like to see more acceptance of different political opinions. However, the school is a great community to thrive and learn in. It helps students become more accepting of others and their cultural and religious practices and views."

"JCHS is truly an incredible school. This is a one of a kind community which truly cares about each student. Filled with welcoming students and faculty, JCHS allows students to truly thrive and allows students to expand their thinking and exposes them to various opinions and ideas outside and inside the classroom."

"JCHS is a high school that offers amazing academics woven into a unique community environment that promotes individuality, self advocacy, leadership, and awareness of local, national and global issues. Strong sports, theatre program, variety of clubs- many of which students create to fit personal interests, fabulous faculty all in the heart of San Francisco. Students can be themselves and dig deeper into who they are and what they want to contribute to the world. JCHS students tend to have great communication skills and truly respect and care about their peers and community. JCHS students make an impact when they go onto college campuses and into the professional world. They also tend to continue volunteering and leading in a variety of arenas."

"JCHS is a warm and incredibly supportive environment where the community feels like family. The school is small by design, giving students the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with the faculty and staff, and also offering each person the chance to shape their high school experience in a very individual way. The students who graduate from the school are empowered by their education at JCHS in a very tangible way and it's inspiring to see so many alums go on to become creative, thoughtful and energetic leaders in their chosen fields."
