"I loved being involved in the performing arts program! The performing arts teachers were some of the most dedicated and passionate teachers on campus! I learned more from art classes than I did in any academic class. The performing arts present material I learned in history, English, or science classes in a more applicable and comprehensible way."

"I love the close relationship I have with all of the students and teachers at the school. I am blessed with so many amazing opportunities including dance, cheer and teaching careers. Although I am very happy with my school, I would like to see more teacher appreciation and better communication between administration and students."

"Benicia High School is a high school, like so many others, with strengths and weaknesses that make students both love and hate it. The school has had a major push in ensuring that students that want to excel in their courses have the resources available to them, from expansion of AP and Honors courses available to providing labs and tutors after school to help students with tough classes. But there also has been a loss in some classes, both due to lack of funding in certain areas and assumed lack of interest without student consultation, to classes like Wood Shop, Auto, and Culinary. The school has also pushed for more work on ensuring better classrooms and facilities, helping to update technologies, internet connectivity, and energy efficiency, but concerns that some of the budget for these projects is being diverted from classroom supplies and resources."
