"I feel like it is an experience to go the Vallejo High. Its not the most academically on point school, but there are some great social aspects about it. They are sometimes unorganized with their classrooms, they dont usually give the creative teachers room to be themselves, so we end up with basic, strictyly by the book classes. But the diversity and taste of reality you get there is unlike any other. You learn real life skills that are actually gonna be valuable when you are on your own."

"I am now a senior at Vallejo High School. From the start I have faced adversity. A lot of my teachers wanted me to fail, but I worked so hard so that wouldn't happen. Having an unstable administration is hard as well because I never know what to expect and it ruins are learning environment sometimes. Even though there is a lot of bad that I have experience, there were times that were good. I have had some good teachers who have encouraged me to be the best that I can be and who weren't afraid to tell me what I really needed to hear. I was introduced to a college preparatory program called trio upward bound. That program saved my life. I have met different types of people who helped me learn valuable lessons and also how to deal with different behaviors. My school isn't perfect, but it still has good parts to it."

"The reason why I like my school, Vallejo High School is because I enjoy the academies they offer. I'm currently in the Health and fitness academy we learn about fitness and health related topics. I'm pleased with the clubs and activities they provide for everybody I was also in the Corazon Latino Club, it was so much fun. But just like other schools the only thing I would like to change about Vallejo High School is the way they organize or plan things, other than that my school is really safe and respectful."

"Vallejo High School is were I graduated from in the early 2000's. From an insider point of view, as an attending student. I thought my school was just fine. The teachers were knowledgeable, the structures stood firm, and there were a decent amount of extracurricular activities to choose from. I was lucky enough to be a part of the top 10% which helped me go to college and provided opportunities that (in my opinion) most of the other students weren't able to seize. Now that I've been around the country and have seen more secondary schools, my Alma Mater was lacking in terms of college preparedness, school aesthetics, and safety to point out the highlights that came out to me being a former student."

"In Vallejo High School, it has been a fun throughout my high school year. But the biggest problem is people that is not from the district or the area will constantly think that you are a not a polite person or not as smart as them. Most of the people in the school does not care for their eduction or future but there is a huge group of people who does everything so they can have the future they want. This school is good for how the students think about other type of people. Everyone would mostly get along and even nice to each other."
