"For my first 2 years there, the campus was different and made me feel like I was back to Elementary school."

"I like LPS Richmond because the classes are small and the staff knows your face and name. I like that when something is going wrong n your life there is a support team there to help you. You are never left to fail, there is always someone willing to help you."

"This school has really nice and engaging teachers doing what it takes to get students ahead. Everyone cares about you and wants to ensure your future. While it lacks diversity it does have motivation to learn about the community and difference in a positive way . My heart will always be in this school."

"The teachers here are at different places when it comes to giving out support. For example my chemistry teacher was so supportive in one of my AP classes. He gave us his phone number so that if we were ever confused with our homework or anything in general we could text him. What I liked about this was that you can easily reach out for help and he won't say no. However, a less supportive teacher I had was my English teacher sophomore year. She was hard to reach because she had something called office hours. So you could only go to her on those hours, but the problem was that there was only like 3 hours per week if you were involved in sports then this was a problem to you. She had no interest in students and it would feel like she acted fake around us. She pretended that she cared about us but not really. Another teacher however, that is really supportive is my math teacher. She will answer any question you ask her at anytime and she can totally be someone to lean on when you need a friend. I see a lot of my teachers as friends because I can joke around with them and feel comfortable in a class."

"Leadership is a great school. We had a great principle who clearly knew what she was doing. The administration was friendly and always glad to help. They had everything under control. The teachers were amazing! They were clear and enthusiastic with the lessons they planned. The student life was great as well since it was a small school it was easy to make friends."
