"One of the things that made Orestimba a good High School was the close knitted community. The teachers and other faculty are very friendly and actually want to help the students."

"Orestimba High School is a school that has proven to become a great school from the friendly and calm atmosphere to a diverse set of opportunities when it comes to classes to take. Also, a number of sports will vary. As for the changes would involve probably the new colors of the school because they are similar to the other schools in the district, giving a shady tone to the school."

"Better counseling department! Our department doesn't offer a lot of resources to apply for scholarships. I've learned that I could have applied to certain scholarships as early as 14 years old. Our counseling department is rude too. It seems like they are always in terrible moods. I've encountered several incidents where the person before me mad that counselor mad and she takes it out on me! So wrong!! I would like to see better elective classes and more AP courses."

"At Orestimba, the staff genuinely cares about the students and their education. For example, Orestimba requires 260 credits to graduate, which largely exceeds the state requirement. Our staff truly cares about our success within our futures! Since it is a small school, students and teachers get to know each other on a personal level, making our education much more fun while enhancing our willingness to learn. Although Orestimba is a great high school, there is only one thing that I would change. I wish Orestimba had more than 5 AP classes available throughout my junior and senior year. I am a student of high caliber who enjoys challenging classes, but I am limited to how many I can take due to the minimal opportunities at school. I am forced to take regular classes that I breeze through because I already know most of the material from my other AP classes."

"Orestimba High School was an interesting environment. There is a mixture of personalities for the teachers and the classes are average. The campus may be big, but its easy to find your way after the first week of school."
