"The school is overall fun. My only complaint would be that there are two lunches. I live far away from the school and have to take the bus. So it is hard for me to join clubs due to that reason. But since we have two lunches it is not possible to have club meeting at lunch."

"Some teachers really care... and others don't. It's also a fairly new school (7 years old), so they're still trying to establish tradition and figure things out. I give them credit for trying. Not a bad school, but certainly not the best."

"I like the school and a lot of the teachers, but I did not like the pathway curriculum because I could not try certain classes because it was not in my pathway. I also did not get a chance to meet other pathway students because they separated students by their pathways."

"Going to school here felt almost as if you were in prison. Everything was pretty strict and there was not a lot of room for fun or self expression. We could not even go to our cars until school got out. They really enjoyed giving people detention or writing people up for dress code violations. There was a lot of emphasis on punishment, which was very distracting for academics. If more time was spent on learning than the thickness of a shirt sleeve, then the school would be in much better shape. All I can remember is people be sent out of the classroom for dress code violations and keeping the students contained on campus. There were many spots we were not allowed to go to. Seemed like a prison more than a school. Terrible experience and hopefully it has gotten better since I went there in 2009-2013."

"I loved my high school but it had its flaws. They were too strict on dress code to a point where it would impact students coming to school and that is ridiculous, no one should be suspended for not wearing the correct attire. In college there is no dress code and I have learned more and have not gotten distracted nor seen anyone become distracted because of what someone is wearing. I do miss being a part of my high school and would love for my future children to attend as long as it does not become worse."
