"At Montgomery, many programs would help students of different backgrounds reach their dreams of going to college. The AVID program, as well as the college counselor, were very effective ways of helping students understand what they needed to do and how to do so. The AVID program offered emotional support and overall learning about college life in every aspect. The college and career center also offered lots of help to any student to find financial aid based on their socioeconomic life or their interests. Both programs are a huge and missed out on a lot, they offer so much support and help. The other great part about Montgomery is the I.B International Baccalaureate program which offers high school classes in a similar format as college-level classes, and if you take the IB tests and score well, you can transfer over units to your future college and avoid taking some G.E classes. Montgomery is a wonderful school to attend, they will give you the help you need."
