"I liked the diversity on campus and how we all pretty much got along. Minimal fights in what's know as a ghetto area. It's chill and well connected."

"My experience at Cordova High School was overall great. They offer a variety of classes that help you find what your interested in. You learn a lot from there academics which helps prepare you for college. The teachers are fun and always ready to help. They have sports and clubs that you can get involved in"

"I would like to first express my gratitude towards CHS for adopting the rigorous International Baccalaureate Program, because it has provided me with many challenges and a great paradigm shift in my view of education and its role in my life. Yet, while I do understand that the IB Program is new to the entire district, I also feel that the students, were not adequately prepared to take on such a draconian program. Still, the challenges that my classmates and face are not entirely detrimental. I have learned much about myself over the past three years at CHS, and this is largely due to the IB Program, and the graciousness and determination that has been exerted on behalf of the teachers and students to tackle this learning curve. All in all, Cordova is a venerable institution that has worked hard to overcome the stigmas that have been placed on it since the 1960s, including drugs, violence, and destruction - but, also, in recent years, a blooming of artwork, pride, and dedication."

"The teachers were great, first of all. Many of them did care about the students success and were willing to help them succeed. Also, you could meet lots of people on campus from many different cultures and ethnicities. There are many clubs, from the famous Key Club to foreign language clubs to sports. The school district is very supportive of the school too and it receives many funds and improvements as a result."

"the school is begging for money to build new buildings instead of buying more supplies and hiring better campus monitors. The school is infested with cockroaches, skunks, stray animals, seagulls, and a bad case of fights. Teachers do little to nothing when students don't listen to them. The food isn't prepared it's brought in ( i don't know where they get the pizza from) despite the fact that the cafeteria has a kitchen with sinks. no oven or stove just sinks and warmers."
