"I love this highschool because of the environment and the people. Despite our schools bad reputation and history Grant has a way of bringing the community together and uniting as one we have pride in our school and you can feel it on campus."

"Teachers are caring and very intelligent as well as good at connecting with students Administration is genuinely caring for students and staff and are highly qualified AP courses are challenging, but also beneficial and can be fun Hands on activities give a real world feel The family atmosphere is genuinely portrayed in the "Pacer for Life" tradition that has followed the school for over half a century"

"This school has a lot of room for improvement. Students that are not athletes are often forgotten and unprepared for college. Football team is great."

"Grant High school was an environment where it is easy to learn if you're willing to, but also very easy to get sidetracked if you're not focused. This school offers a great range of AP and Honors courses and these teachers are exceptional and very involved with students. One thing that I would like to see change is the sizes of the performing arts classes and the funds for the performing arts, which are very few."

"I love the atmosphere at Grant Union High School. We are a football dominant school and it creates a family environment that makes it fun to go to school. If I could fix things it would be our school bathrooms that never have enough necessary resources for the students. Most bathroom doors don't even lock and many sinks and soap dispensers malfunction frequently."
