"It was the perfect place to truly understand yourself and find who you wanted to be. Shasta High School allow the students to be something. There at Shasta, people took the time to listen to what you had to say. your voice was heard and considered. The teachers actually cared about if you passed or not. They gave you the grade that YOU deserve. they actually know the material and aren't their to just get their money."

"I'd like to change the counseling center the counselors are very uneducated on what they say dealing with scholarships and knowledge for schools outside of California is undermining they make it seem like the only option is junior college or college in California. I like the teachers at the school however the curriculum that they are required to follow doesn't teach important lessons so I say let teachers teach how they want."

"I only attended Shasta High School for about a year and a half. My Junior year was great; all of my teachers were exceptionally helpful and wanted nothing more for than me to succeed. They managed rowdy students and taught me the skills I was expected to learn. The second year of my sophomore year, however, could've done better. Some of my teachers allowed students to be rude and waste our class time, and I didn't feel very welcomed when I came half way through the school year. My junior year made up for this though as the school provides an abundance of elective and CTE options, which I took advantage of. The school does its best to provide resources for students to succeed and go to college, which I appreciated."

"I love Shasta High School and going here has been an overall fantastic experience for me. The teachers really care about their students and want them to learn and there are a lot of students who are motivated and push each other to work hard and improve. There is also a wide variety of classes that allows students to experiment with subjects that many other schools do not offer, like computer science."
