"Currently I am a senior at Ka'u High School, and my high school experience has been a very unforgettable one. I am President of HOSA, a school club. Vice President of National Honor Society our school's chapter. I am Communication's Chair of Youth and Government. As you can see our school offers some clubs that students can be active in. We also offer many sports that have a wide range of interest for students. I have made many friends and memories and will be sad to leave it behind when I leave for college. I hope other students can also benefit from the amazing community and diversity there."

"Teacher in my school are very supportive with students. They are able for student after school to talk about grades or tutoring. When student are having trouble they are willing to communication, showing what they need to do or better their grade in the next test."

"Enrolling at Ka'u High School and Pahala Elementary has been good. My favorite experience throughout my high school career is getting the chance to be 2014-2015 Homecoming Queen. It has been a memory that will surely last forever. It was a stressful yet awesome experience. I think what makes this school unique is that its located in a very small community with people who care for one another, everyone here knows each other, and all students are close to each other. It's literally like one big family at this school. I would choose this school again due to the people in this school but there is not much different classes you can take. There is barely any electives and other required classes are only basic. Also, activities at this school is very rare so it can get a little boring. As for that, If I had the chance to try and experience another school, I would."

"The thing I like about this school is that some teachers are actually willing to help us get the grades we deserve and will help us understand the things we learn. But the things that I don't like is that the underclassmen can be rude towards the teachers and students and thinks that they run the school. Another thing that I don't like about this school is that there are some teachers who are sort of lazy and doesn't want to teach the class. They would just give the students a worksheet to work on for the rest of the class."
