"My experience at Quincy High School is most likely not the same as others. High School has been a struggle for me both with academics and friends. Through middle school I attended a private school, on the first day of freshmen year it was a huge change because I wasn t used to 25 students per class and crowded hallways. When I was eight years old I was diagnosed with two different genetic syndromes, which are Noonans syndrome and Cardiofaciocutaneous. These genetic syndromes affect my academic learning, which makes school just a little harder for me. Without my parents and teachers pushing me to do better I wouldn t be the student I am today, and most likely wouldn t be graduating on time. My favorite part of high school has been the variety of agriculture classes and the club FFA. One major thing that might help Quincy High School is smaller class sizes, so that there can potentially be a better learning environment."

"I enjoy mostly everything about Quincy High School. I have always felt welcome by the staff. I have created many connections over the last four years. I have built my home away from home at this school. It has offered everything I love being a part of over these last four years. The staff puts you before there own needs and does their best to do the best for their students."

"I like how the teachers and counselors care about your future and work with you to make sure you succeed. However, the math department struggles to keep teachers. For example, in Algebra III I had seven teachers in one year. The district has also depleted the music program over the years and we have to have one music teacher traveling throughout the district each day to teach band and we no longer have a choir program. The district seems to be caught up on A.V.I.D. and spending lots of money to support A.V.I.D. when the program doesn't benefit every student. The school also doesn't have academic classes that can challenge students that are "the higher level students." The school doesn't prepare you or start talking to you about college until your senior year."

"I recently moved to Quincy and the first thing I noticed was that there is slim to no diversity because the majority of students there are Hispanics. Do not get me wrong I love Hispanics and all, I am one also but I love diversity even more. I enjoy interacting with a variety of races and cultures. Another thing would that the students who attend are not that friendly. I feel that as teens we should enjoy making new friends and invite others so they can feel welcomed as well but that is not the case here. Students here tend to not get out of their group or bring anyone else in. Something I love from this school would be the teachers, they tend to make you feel welcome and provide their assistance with things you might need. Quincy High School also does a very good job at providing the resources needed when the FAFSA/WAFSA opened. I am taking two stars from this review because if I felt welcome at this school, I would have no reason to feel like an outsider."

"I liked the teachers but didnt really like how the hallways get crowded and how also most of the bathroom stall doors dont have locks on them and teachers dont even lock locker room doors during a class period so any thefts can be happening without knowing who it was."
