"I graduated Grant High School in 2014 and I have many great memories and experiences that I shared as a student there. I was enrolled in the Magnet program, played sports my entire 4 years, was a college peer counselor, Magnet aid, and was even historian of Senior Leadership. I struggled with gaining a sense of community up until my sophomore year when I became more involved in extracurriculars and student body activities. It helped me achieve more of a positive student life balance. I took several AP classes that were offered on campus but by far my favorite was AP English Literature taught by Mrs. Haynes Caruso. Her class was unlike anything I've ever taken- even as a college student many of my classes haven't come close to how special hers was. She taught outside the box and challenged students to do their absolute best."

"Ulysses S. Grant High School was a good school for everyone. I loved my counselor because she was so mindful and helpful and helped with my educational plan to finish high school faster without wasting time. I made a lot of friends and I was a friend to our school's deans as well. The school is so safe and the staff members are so good too."

"The school is just average for me. The teachers are good at times but some tend to do a poor job. The is of course not good but I eat it anyway. The staff are good for students, not sure about parents. The school provides special benefits for special Ed student's, including me. The diversity is good but some tend to stay at their own race. The school does inform their students about the rules but some of them tend to ignore them."

"Grant High School is a great school built with many diverse characters, teachers, students, staff and much more! I'm in the Humanitas Academy, and my teachers are always there for me no matter what; whether I need help with homework, or just a friend to talk to, they're always there for support. At this school, I have been an avid voice to our student body. We are given the opportunity to organize fundraisers, have fun lunch time quad events, and so much more! I currently hold 5-7 positions just in this school year, and juggling it with my classwork does get difficult sometimes, but the only reason for that is because I always challenge myself to do greater things exceeding expectations. Overall, Grant is a great school and I wouldn't want to be at any other school."
