"At Bonita I made a lot of different friend because of how diverse the school is. My teachers at the school are all great I have made a personal connection with each of them, And with friends that I had before high school we have became really close friends"

"I really enjoy the dedication of the staff to students. I truly feel that they look out for the quality of their student's best interests and their education. I wish the infrastructure of the school could be improved, but I understand that the funding for that is largely out of the hands of anyone at the school level."

"Bonita High is most likely exactly what you'd expect of the average public school. That isn't to say however, that these expectations are met halfheartedly. What the campus lacks in sports accolades and campus amenities, it makes up for through its faculty and academic programs. Bonita, much like any other school, has awesome teachers who will be mentors in not only your education, but also life lessons that will aid you long after you graduate. That isn't to say that there aren't flaws. Crappy teachers exist. The campus is lacking in a lot of ways. The counselors are difficult to consult. But the help and opportunities are there for you if you are willing to put in the effort to find them. Many alumni return to Bonita saying that the school, specifically the IB program, prepared them well for the rigor of college."

"Most of the teachers are excellent in what they do, with the exception of the math department. As a senior that has gone to this school for the past 4 years of my life, I can safely say that you will have a much easier time if you take higher level math classes. The math department really needs to get their act together, but higher level math teachers are your best bet. Pretty much all the other subject areas I've had a pretty good time in, however. The facilities could use quite a bit of upgrading (some buildings haven't been updated in decades), and the lunches from the cafeteria aren't all that great. Despite these negatives, I would definitely recommend this school to any parents looking to bring their child to a school that would challenge them academically, but would advise them to bring their own lunch and look online for reviews of teachers to ensure that they have a quality education."
