"EMK was much more a community than a high school. I enjoyed the environment and it was like we were a big family. The students supported each other through their rough times and the teachers were amazing! My experience at EMK was great but it would have been better if the school was united with the lower class and if there were more activities and sports involved."

"Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers is a good college preparatory school overall . The teachers are very well- around and takes the time and patience to help the students whatever they need inside and outside the school. The school is very diverse and the students are very helpful and respectful among its peers. Its like a little community in both campus. Unfortunately, EMK Academy doesn't have a variety of extracurricular activities and have little support for clubs and other organizations . EMK Academy mission is to have kids Dream. Grow. Excel which I've taken to heart and for my education throughout my 4 years in high school"

"What I liked about EMK was the community, for a small school how uplifting the students are, filled with talent and purpose."

"I like that emk welcomes you and makes you feel like a family rather than just a school. We're such a small school and it allows us to be more involved and it also allows us to interact with each other. You're not just known by your name but you're known for what you do and all you accomplishments. They make you feel proud of what you've accomplished which is great support system. We have internships opportunities with the hospitals, I just wish we had more hands on internships always different kinds."

"I am currently a Senior at Edward M.Kennedy Academy for Health Careers. Now since I'm a student who has been attending this school all of my high school I guess it's good for me to review the school. Now the school overall isn't a bad school. Since the school is not a big school you get to know everyone and grow a connection to some people. Through the school I was able to do attend a Celtics basketball game, take a Dual Enrollment class at Bunker Hill Community College my Junior and currently my Senior year, I got the chance to play softball with a determined team, I also got the chance to travel to Canada, and many more things. The teachers are some of the best teachers I've ever had. Though the food isn't the best, you only have to deal with it for two years and after that your junior year you're able to go out to get your lunch. So over all if I had the chance to do the high school experience again, I would not experience it at any other school."
