"George W. Hewlett High School offers a diverse selection of activities and opportunities to all students for any interest. Teachers work closely to build relationships with their students and encourage authenticity in their students' assignments. The availability to engage with teachers is easily accessible and provides a basis and readiness for future learning at any university or college of choice."

"Overall I liked my experience here but within the last couple years, some new rules implemented by the principals made it worse."

"I felt Hewlett High School was a well rounded experience. The great thing I love, is the ability to have multitudes of opportunity. My guidance counselor was an amazing help all four years of high school and is always there for support. While many other schools don't have this, these guidance counselors really do guide you to graduating in four years and taking classes that are on your level. I had so many opportunities to take AP and college courses in order to push my academics to the limit. The teachers accommodate to you an abundant amount. However, some other teachers don't baby you as much and that really got me ready for college because I got used to keeping my own calendar and following a syllabus. It was a pretty amazing experience and I made some lifelong memories and friends that will not be forgotten!"

"Very good school in terms of academics. Safe and has many resources to choose from. If you're an academic and very into having a college education it is a great place to study. They prepare you very well for college and have a great prep to applying as well. However if you are a student that doesn't do well in school and you are more interested in art and music. The school has great classes in it as well but there is way more funding in sports and academics, even though the school has a great art and music department. Counselors are very good and again if you are looking to do a trade or something other than straight to college, there guidance isn't as great. But as for the norm in academics like AP and College credits there is an amazing selection."

"The main things I liked about George W Hewlett High School were the classes I took and the teachers that taught them. Stimulating students and assigning homework that engaged thinking all helped me become a better and more aware student. Furthermore, from my classes I had gotten the blessed chance to make some amazing friends that I still continue to talk today. My friends were a major influence upon my high-school life and I am grateful to my high-school for making it so. One major thing I would like to see changed is the amount of classes offered. A problem I had always encountered when it came to making a new schedule was what classes I should take. Looking at the classes offered by my high-school I feel they were not fully diverse and only really covered certain specific majors. It would amazing to see the list of classes offered by George W. Hewlett High School expand."
