"My time at Marist really helped me prepare for college. There are many clubs at the school that the students can get involved with. The teachers are always willing to help a student learn a subject."

"I thought that Marist High School is a very good experience for high school kids. They really work on pushing students to be the best they can be in their education and the teachers take the time to make sure their students understand what they're being taught. I am not sure I would suggest anything for them to change because I feel like my school experience there was overall very good."

"Very small school in a city of large public schools. New leadership has greatly benefited the school academically and helped add value to the education. My time there was pretty enjoyable. A lot of the classes are not hard but the assignments are extremely time consuming and stressful. The emphasis on community service is great and helps students to be immersed in their area."

"Marist High School has been a great learning experience. I loved most of the teachers because many of them taught very well and were caring, understanding, and helpful. Some of the students were nice, but as a Mexican, I think Marist has a lot of work to do with diversity. Several students of each race at Marist don't have respect for other races. There are mixed groups of friends, but i often see lunch tables that seat all African Americans, all Caucasians, or all Hispanics. Marist has already started a club to raise awareness for racist tension in the school. This club, the Evolve Club, has helped already so I applaud Marist for taking that step forward. I will miss the school very much, especially the band students because I am a band nerd, and they're my family."
