"What I enjoy most about St. Benedict Preparatory High School is the diversity. I came from a predominantly white grammar school and was never exposed to other cultures. St Benedict's has opened my eyes to many other cultures both from first hand experiences and from international club. Now attending St. Benedict's some of my closest friends come from many other countries including Ethiopia, Ghana, Congo, South Korea, and China. Without coming to St. Benedict's I am not sure if I would have ever been exposed to all these different types of people and I am extremely grateful for that"

"There is better out there. It is a very diverse school with great academics and teachers. The middle school and elementary school are great, but the high school is not. There are few resources for the high school compared to the other schools. The students are nice and very involved in extra-curriculars."

"the preK - middle school are a completely different world from the high-school. StBenedict Prep cant keep any long term student to stay for the high-school. therefore they accept just anyone (less driven, or discipline issues) into the high-school to fill a seat. (just look at the end product for the highschool).as long as there aren't any high expectations (testing results) for incoming high-schoolers, the middle school will continue to leave every year. they are lucky if they can convince one or two St.B students to enroll in the high-school each year. now the students are starting to leave at the middle school (after 5th), because of their mix with the high-schoolers (which are a completely different caliber of student, both academically and respectfully). The ratings they have here are truly misleading. they have included some middle-school grades into the mix to raise their rating. Just the number of students listed here is increased by probably 50 students. Again, the highschool is a completely different animal, from the preK-8. (which is absolutely great and would probably be rated with very highly on its own. its hard to rate the school here, when you want to give a great rating for the prek-8, but you are using the rates to falsely list as the highschool."

"some teachers seem to truly care to get the best of each student. unfortunately they seem to have trouble keep the great teachers long. others are obviously just doing the minimal required by school. grades are not entered in weekly into powerschool, messages are not entered correctly into Edmodo, so that parent accounts get the information. student assignments are lost, or marked as missing, when they have been already received and graded. ignore student emails, show up very late to meeting with students, etc."

"As a new student from another country, I learned a lot from this school, from making friends to getting into internships."
