"Grade inflation, teachers not qualified to teach, poor learning environment. About everything they tell you not to expect in high school, and to try and diversify yourself away from, occurs from the teachers and curriculum at the school."

"Ketchikan High School is a relatively small school on a small little island. The high school is a great learning facility as it contains friendly and incredibly helpful teachers that know every student in their class."

"Kayhi Kings, as it's called. high school was a bumpy ride that I wasn't expecting of hard work and travel, with supportive teachers and crazy friends who in a small rural town found fun things to do. I wouldn't trade this high school experience for anything else."

"My favorite part about Ketchikan High School was how involved the students and community were with our sports and activities. I loved see the crowds cheer my school on and to know that I was one of my schools adoring fans. Either in the gym, on the field, or in the auditorium the atmosphere of the room was alway a supportive one. Whenever one of out teams were away, the principle would pull out flat screen TV into the commons so anyone could watch the ongoing game. People would stop to watch during the passing periods, sit and watch during their free periods, or even pull up a chair after school and watch for awhile. I loved to see the support for teams even though they in a different city."

"I think that this is a great school to attend. I went here my junior year of high school and the teachers could not be more helpful or nice. They also had a lot of different class options that you were able to take. This way you could always have something fun and different if you got bored of your other classes."
