"I lived most of my life in Mexico, school wasn't that good over there. Teachers didn't care about your education, sometimes I had 4 hours without class because they were too lazy to teach. When I went to KHS at first I was nervous because I didn't have friends and my english wasn't that good. But everything got better, my teachers were really nice to me, there was always someone to talk to if I felt bad or if I nedeed something. I did have someone in one class tell me how I should go back to my country and all kinds of racist stuff. But I didn't let that get on my way, I kept going to class, I kept ignoring him and while he was busy making fun of me, I was busy learning something. I always got the higher scores on tests even tho I was on regular classes and I was the only one who didn't speak perfect english and that's something no one can take away from me. I thank my teachers for believing in me."

"kennewick high school is an amazing school. I don't see much drama or hate around as long as you don't hang out with the wrong crowd. everyone there is very friendly and welcoming, which was my first impression when I first came in as a freshman. it's a very humble school as well."

"I love the "family" feel as well as the diversity! The teachers are pretty focused on their jobs and relate well to the students."

"My feelings about high school in general are fairly neutral. I don't think there's anything special about. However, for the most part, I enjoyed my time as a student at Kennewick HS. I made a few friends. Most of the teachers are nice and I learned a lot."

"I loved at Kennewick High how everyone is accepting of who you are. You don't get judged for not looking a "certain" way or by being popular or what you do. It's really easy making friends and finding out what you like through clubs and extracurricular activities. I would like to see more students have school spirit and support sports and clubs more. Dressing up for games and themes or spirit days to show you are proud of your school while having a little fun and coming out of your comfort zone. I know for some people they had a bad experience in high school and I have yet to have one of those moments and I'm a junior. I honestly really love my high school."
