"Fishers High School is a very well-rounded school for students. The community is very evident here and the teachers really want to help you pursue a future. At Fishers, student's success is top priority. The education students receive here is one that will benefit them not only in college but in life. Student involvement in extracurricular activities is not only easy but very common. There are so many clubs and sports that students can participate in and this is what grows the strong community at Fishers. Something that I specifically like about Fishers is the intentional focus on college readiness, as most students will head there after graduating. There are many opportunities to take college level courses and to challenge yourself positively in the Fishers environment."

"I really enjoy going the Fishers High School. It's really great how diverse our school is and the amount of activities we have going on all the time. The staff all get along very well and all have different approaches to teaching; some also teach more like a college professor, so it seems like he/she lets you learn a lot more on your own."

"Fishers High School is great. The only problem, really, is the administration. They are hyper-sensitive about their public image so much so that our school is the only school in the entire Hamilton Southeastern school district that doesn't allow teachers to wear jeans on Friday. Instead, if teachers want to wear jeans, they have to make a donation to Riley Children's Hospital. It's a great cause, I won't argue with that, but it certainly is unfair to the teachers. Additionally, they are very uptight about studying in certain school areas after school is over. One day, I was studying alone at a table in an empty hallway in school and one of the deans kicked me out and made me go home; I wasn't doing anything wrong, I was just studying. However, despite the problems with the administration, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Fishers High School, as much as anyone can enjoy those terrible four years that is high school."

"Overall, I had a very positive experience at Fishers High School (FHS). My freshman year was a bit tough having to adjust to the larger class sizes, rigorous schedules, and demanding teachers. In addition, I was also active in sports so trying to balance both athletics and academics was a challenge. As the years progressed, I learned how to manage my time better and eventually had success in both athletics and academics. The one thing I would change about FHS is that it should offer more skilled trade courses for those students that are not college bound. I understand the importance of a college education and am eternally grateful for the opportunity to be able to attend college. However, for so many students the idea of college is beyond their realm of comprehension. Therefore, the school should offer skilled trade courses to allow students to earn a certification in addition to a high school diploma."

"For a high school, it's certainly not the worst. Though the food and the bathrooms are awful, I've had a lot of educational opportunities at Fishers that I'm incredibly grateful for. They really push advanced classes and the teachers do their best to help you keep up and advance your knowledge."
