"Transitioning from Virginia to Central Indiana, this area has much to offer in the face of different classes within various studies, whereas in Virginia there was high specialization between the 4 various high schools of the area, where from each a student would have to apply to be a part of the programs within said high school in order to be a part of its focused program."

"Education wise it is not horrible they do have good programs and classes to offer but they don't really make sure that their students participate in them. Socially it is a school where most kids get everything handed to them. That might sound bad but its mostly true the ones who don't get things handed to them don't get to participate in many things. Also the people aren't that welcoming my first day I was with my guidance counselor and as she told me about how she knows things will be hard I started to cry because it had been hard and all she did was say oh your first is that way. The students in my classes weren't nice enough to ask me how my first day was going or ask me how I was doing and I know you can't expect that from everyone but every other school I have been to the students have helped with my transition. So overall the people aren't the most authentic or welcoming but the education is good."

"I personally feel as if everyone here is in a bubble. The sports are super political to the point where you could be better than someone but they make the team because their parents donate money. Teachers pick favorites and don't connect with students."

"There are so many kids, hard to get to know anyone let alone walk through the halls without getting pushed into a wall and/or locker. It's ridiculous. Also, the school is huge and we only get 7 minutes to get from class to class. Imagine being like almost a mile away from your next class. You better speed walk/lightly jog if you don't want to be tardy. The math department sucks too. Unless you're super smart/know math already, you're screwed because our math teachers are awful."

"I really liked the Humanities teachers, performing/visual arts, lunch. Business classes are impressive here. The World Language Department could expand, some of the Math teachers could improve and I really wish there was JROTC."
