"The only thing I would want to see implemented in the district overall is more rigor to the AP courses or the implementation or concurrence of enrollment in community colleges and with the high school, so students are more prepared for college and more prepared for a competitive environment."

"I love that Santiago always had spirit. We support each other. We are family. We are all connect and although some people may feel out of place or believe that this school is junk, I know that deep down in themselves, they feel comfortable and happy. To be at such a wonderful school where there are many opportunities to improve your abilities, make a better vision of yourself, and open up all the potential you have within yourself. Also, for me it was all great, I did notice others weren't so happy about it. Some got bullying in secret and others were always making the place more horrible such as throwing trash on the ground purposefully or being rude towards those that did no such harm to them. I wish to change some policies because I believe its not fair, but overall this was a great school that I would love to go again if I had the chance."

"The teachers here really care about their students. Santiago has a strong sense of 'community' that can't be replicated at any other school. Students here genuinely care for each other as well."

"Overall, in my past four years I had a great time learning, growing, and developing into the person I am today. I am thankful Santiago was able to provide me with many opportunities not only to express and find myself, but also to create a pathway for my success. If it wasn't for my teachers, my peers, and the success-driven atmosphere the school provides, I would not have been in the position I am today. The school just has much to offer and with the right attitude you can seize every opportunity"

"Santiago high school was where I spent 4 years of my life growing up. This school is known for being competitive not only in sports but also academically. Also, this school is really good for someone who has a lot of school spirit and wants to participate in clubs. However, one negative about the school is the office ladies they are rude and do not do their job in justifying absence's when the parents call. No wonder this school has a really bad attendance rate! Lastly, the other negative about this school is that some teachers do not put in the effort to interact with the students when they are giving the lecture and then blame the students for not understanding it."
