"I would like to see the academic counselors be more involved. Especially during the students Junior and Senior years!"

"Unorganized adminstration that values sports performance more than the arts. Decent choir program. Not very supportive of students who want to graduate early, leave biomedical program, or don't do sports. Not many good teachers."

"School is overall "okay". The teachers don't completely give you the right push you need and/or would want to have. You have to put in 50/50 effort. Best teacher is in the History Department, Rudy Gonzales; If there was a teacher that genuinely cared about the future of his students it would be him. But hey, don't knock this school 'till you try it."

"Gilroy High School was an experience that I wont forget. The majority of the teachers care in you succeeding and will work with you after hours or before if you talk to them. Playing sports was a fun experience as well the coaches wanted the best out of you on and you would try to bring the same level that they wanted in practice into games. The people you meet in high school is what you expect some are your friends others are not just people you see in a daily bases. Overall its the typical high school experience that most people go through."

"My experince in Gilroy High as been pretty satisfing. Eventhought some people might not like it for some reason, I like it because it has some of the most caring and understaning teachers that help us as their student on what we do not get. Many teachers even go the extra mile in teachering their student fun and intresting stuff about the subject. Gilroy High school alsi has fun ctivities where the whole school get invlved as a group to wheter it is having a fundrasie or having a spirt week."
