"The education is pretty exceptional, though there is a ton of academic pressure. Some of the administrators are rude, and others don't make an effort to get to know every student, only ones they find worthy of their time. The food is ok. The kids are mostly stuck-up, rude and entitled and tend to freak out way too much over their grades. Some of the teachers are great, some of the teachers couldn't care less whether you died tomorrow. Socially, kids are very cliquey and it can be hard to find a clique to attempt to fit into for four years without joining some clubs. The clubs are generally well funded- but not the art ones of course since nearly the whole school takes the arts for granted -but all are cliquey and many big ones can be obnoxious. For example, BuildOn is a club in which kids compete over who can be the most charitable and humble. Overall, most people I know don't like the school for whatever reason, and a cloud of anxiety and depression seems to clog the halls."

"Lower Merion is a great school with plenty of academic and extra curricular opportunities available for students. There are hundreds of clubs, sports, and unique opportunities you can't find at many other schools. You can choose to take advantage of these or not, and there is something for everyone. In terms of academics, there are lots of challenging courses to choose from as well as lower-level courses. Many teachers are great and passionate about their subject, but not all teachers are like this. It can be hard to get good grades at LM but it's also difficult to fail- most teachers will do everything they can to keep you from failing. One downside of LM is the competitive culture- there is a big emphasis on getting into college and doing things/taking courses for the sake of college transcripts rather than interest or learning. Overall, LM is what you make of it- you can learn a lot if you come in with the right attitude."

"I like how niche send the email quick and easy scholarships that you can apply to. There are a few other things niche can improve such as an option on your account for colleges or scholarships and things like that. Overall Niche is very useful on my college adventure."

"Some teachers seem to really hate their jobs while others go above and beyond"
