"It was a good school but it never felt like they pushed anyone to go to college. They did say," You need to get an education after high school in order to live comfortably," but they never prepared you for it in any way besides completing your basic classes in order to graduate."

"It's a great school if you are into athletics. Montgomery has excellent athletics programs, and students really come together during games. What I would like to see from my school is being one of the brightest public schools in Santa Rosa. Although the athletics are great, the academics side of it is a little over average, which can greatly be improved."

"The academics are fine, but the current administration has yet to foster any sort of real connection with the students. There's a lot of animosities, from both ends, and the food is nearly inedible. The only parents involved are the ones whose kids are fine, and the teachers seem to be doing as much as they can with what they're given."

"Montgomery is definitely a more melting pot of a school than some others. The facilities are poor but will be improved with city money and grants starting this summer. There are some great teachers on campus that love what they are doing. There is good school spirit and the seniors really get into school activities. The population is diverse and seems like a welcoming group of people. Sports aren't super strong here but we are all working hard to improve."

"What I like about Montgomery, is how there many teachers how are willing to help with your studies. The ambiance they give off is of friendly people who like their jobs. The only thing that really is not favorable for the school, is how unbalanced the diversity is. There isn't as much integration between the Anglo community and the Latino communities. As well as how the Latinos are infamous for their gang related issues. As well as the clubs here, they aren't as consistent as one would expect. As well as there isn't as much college preparation for the students available. Although most classes do what they can."
