"What I liked about the high school was the fact that everyone strives to be better, what I didn't like was the excessive competition that made high school harder than it should have been. The teachers who don't like their jobs or high school kids are something that should be changed also. They only destroy students' feelings and confidence."

"University High School is a notoriously academically rigorous and competitive high school. Students are very driven and are encouraged to do well. UHS breaks usual high school stereotypes because you aren't "cool" for skipping class--the smartest and most well-rounded students are often the most well known. Most alumni say that UHS really prepares them for the workload in college, thanks to the curriculum, workload, and faculty."

"University High School is great. It operates like a college setting where you have to be self motivated and committed to study in order to get good grades. Teachers are here to help only if you go to their office hours."

"I really liked my school's advanced video production program. We had access to resources most students do not have. However, I chose to leave school early because of the immense lack of care and consideration for the wellbeing of their students. The school clearly only cares about keeping up a facade of pristine nature, but refuses to acknowledge the deep issues that the school faces."

"I loved how through out my four years of high school, everyone felt like a family. There was hardly anything to complain about, other than having to be taught more in dept than just touch the subjects because of the requirements."
