    "I had some incredible teachers that really took the time to get to know me and understand how to better teach me based off my strengths and weaknesses. The things I think should change are the food as well as more school spirit and unifying the students and trying to avoid the cliques that take place."

    "The things at capo I enjoyed were the sports and the history classes I took. somethings I want to see change is how they give you detention for being a minute late to school."

    "Capistrano Valley High School is a great high school. They offer fantastic academic programs for individuals of all academic abilities, including AP and IB courses along with the standard curriculum. Additionally, there are excellent opportunities for athletics at the school, and when I was a student I was able to be a multi-sport athlete. These opportunities allowed me to be accepted into a very competitive university and continue my athletic career at the college level as well. That being said, Capo is in need of some updates as it is an older school and could use some renovations. Some of the facilities are in desperate need of a makeover, however in order for that to occur the district would need to step in and provide the funding. Other than that, Capo is a good high school and it prepared me well for my college career."

    "The best part about Capo is that everybody is very close-knit and works together. This is achieved through the Associated Student Body, which is run by Mr. Bryant, who works his ass off so that every student has a great experience at Capo. One thing that could be improved is the parking. The upper lot for students is very small, and the only other parking is down a huge hill which requires you to get all sweaty--not the best way to start your morning."

    "I love that Capistrano Valley high's student body and administration are incredibly spirited and compassionate. Principal Hill genuinely attempts to connect with students and the programs provided in this school provide numerous ways for teenagers to find where they belong. One change that could be made is to allow students to go to any class they would like during tutorial. This way, students can seek aid from any teacher or form study groups with each other. Next, it would be beneficial to have ATMS classes not be restricted to ATMS program students. Because a requirement for the program is to be a year ahead in math, a student in the regular math standard is prohibited from taking ATMS biology for example. Also, some middle schools do not bump kids up a math level no matter their intellect, and so to be in the ATMS program, you would have had to attend the certain middle schools that do this."
