"The school has amazing staff, great administrators with even better teachers. The environment is great but there is not enough room for every student to thrive because the school lacks space for all classes, extracurricular activities, and sports."

"Lakes treated me well when I was attending there. The teachers were helpful and I really felt like they wanted me to succeed. My academics were important to them and it was important to them that I succeed. My athletic career at Lakes was supportive except for the fact the school did not have have a lacrosse team. They changed this and now have a lacrosse team today. Student athletes at Lakes Community High School should feel welcomed into an environment that helps them succeed in athletics and achademics."

"I came to Lakes Community High School as a Junior. Almost all students that I had interacted with knew that I was a new student because they all had close relationships with the other students in the same grade level. Most of them had known each other for a long time. So, I felt welcomed as I came to this new school knowing practically nobody. There are always the few that are not always as polite as they should be. Especially one teacher who was not very understanding of some of the special needs students. Instead of talking to the student with kind and understanding word, she was harsh and was rude. And as a teacher I understand when a student does not always follow rules or has outbursts it can be frustrating, but as a teacher I feel as though it is ones job to learn how to deal with these types of behaviors and treat these students with the respect that these students deserve."

"This High School was a very supportive community. There was lots of supportive staff and I always felt comfortable when there. Throughout the school there was many different organizations that students could join that could fit anyones interests. The school spirt is also very high everyone gets very excited to pep the school up, whether it be a pep rally, sport event, or just cheering on individuals when they would make it to a state event. Lakes Community High School is a great school full of happiness and school pride."

"I really believe Lakes Community has a large sense of spirit and morale that lifts up the student body. Almost all students get involved in some way outside of school and support other groups as well. It's a great environment filled with teachers who really care. The only thing I would like to see changed is to find ways to increase academic level by igniting students' academic curiosity."
