"I like that it is very diverse. I don't like that the Honors, Double Honors, and IB students are split up because it sort of makes one look better than the other."

"Lincoln Park High School offers a very diverse student body that allows high school freshman to be exposed to different kinds of people and their traditions and cultures. The school's arts department has the biggest impact on the school. The music faculty love what they do and help create a community within their ensembles. The Drama faculty are excellent at teaching their students the art of public performing on stage and acting. The visual art department does an excellent job emphasizing on imperfection, as not all students are capable of being great artists. Overall Lincoln Park High School has turned me into a well rounded student and has prepared me for the next stage in life."

"Lincoln Park is an exemplary school in showing the diversity of students and teachers. Although there are occasional disagreements with the school, it is the school to strike a balance between the academic and social."

"Lincoln Park is amazing. Even if you decide not to do the IB curriculum, the options and opportunity is rich at Lincoln Park. Their Arts program is terrific. As a singer and jazz piano player, Lincoln Park is filled with talent and people who care a lot about what they do there. It is also very diverse, which is important as a Chicago Public School. My experience was awesome for all four years. I totally recommend it."

"My high school experience was a in a way considered to be a rollercoaster. My freshman year, I was enrolled into the Double Honors program. This program was a very creative, yet challenging experience. I was blessed with great and understanding teachers. They were very hands on and our guidance counselor was the biggest help of all. He provided us with slips each week that were in way our progress reports. It showed if we were on track or off track with grades, attendance and detentions. Not to mention it showed us our GPAs. I am now in my senior year and I can honestly say my experience in Lincoln Park was one of the best 4 years of my life. I was exposed to different cultures, walks of life and ventures. I was able to learn how to play a trumpet and perform numerous times in front of hundreds of people. Lincoln Park is an excellent high school and I am happy to say I am a student here."
