"I would definitely like to see more parent involvement. As well as better communication between parents, teachers, students and counselors."

"Well, I didn't move to Carpentersville to long ago. And this would have been my third high school. At first I was very nervous I didn't know what I would think about the new school. As soon as I arrived I felt welcomed. The class options that I was given were plentiful and I was able to choose what suited my needs. I've always known I wanted to do something that involved art. And I am now looking forward to taking AP studio art, and fashion and merchandise. All while being provided core classes that will also be of benefit to me. Such as AP literature and laguage. It truly is an amazing school to be at, the teachers reflect just that. I will leave high school proud of being a charger!"

"Dundee-Crown High School is known for being the "ghetto" or "hood" school, the lower end of the spectrum for the 3 high schools in the district. But in reality, the school has made a big turn around since its original reputation and even in the 4 years since I've attended. The majority of the teachers at the school (that I've had or heard about) are average to great teachers; they did the minimum or more to make DCHS a good experience. The only problems with the school are the few bad teachers that worsen the experience for the students and lack of funding (in no way the school's fault) for new materials."
