"What I like about the school of business and tourism at Miguel Contreras is that teachers always help you out on your grades and there is always the counselor to help you on anything you want, What I would chance would be nothing honestly because it's a good school that helps alot about business and presentations."

"My experience in the School of Business and Tourism at Miguel Contreras Learning Complex was difficult because I had high difficulty of managing my time and sometimes socializing with people. At first I had difficulty managing my time because I would always rush with my assignments and test but I end up failing and then I don't have time doing it after school to make it up. what helped me pass my classes was to stay in tutoring for 1 hour and a half by having the help of teachers and other students from different grade levels. What I like about the school of Business and Tourism is that they help you succeed and prepare you early before going to college and they offer you classes that provides you. What I want to see the School of Business andTourism change is add other classes for the incoming students in their first year of our academy."

"I have been a student in the School of Business and Tourism for all four years. Now, I am currently a senior. I can truthfully say that B&T has created a safe, friendly, but most of all, a college and work ready environment for all students and staff. Currently offering seven AP classes, B&T is the only certified Linked Learning business pathway in Los Angeles Unified School District. Not to mention, the school is also the only certified Tourism pathway in the state of California."

"There are definitely many opportunities to prepare for college and your future in general, such as college classes on campus, SAT and ACT workshops, mock interviews, resume & cover letter writing, and Project Based Learning Projects (PBL). PBL's are given once every semester and are usually month long projects that really focus on our pathway, Business and Tourism. These projects teach you to work with others, give presentations in front of a panel of judges, and force you to step out of your comfort zone as well as become more involved in the community. There are plenty of ways to become involved in school too, such as participating in Student Site Council or Leadership, and everyone has the option to start their own clubs."
