"I love attending Eastern highschool and it's very bittersweet to graduate in May! I throughly enjoy my school day, my teachers, and my peers. I love the environment and the atmosphere. Something I would like to see change is a more expressive dress code."

"Eastern high school is a generally safe environment for students to express their true selves. We have a community of many different backgrounds, including transgenders, muslims, Asians, whites, African americans, Christians, etc. We are all a very well connected community as we come together for big issues. As Eastern experienced many suicides in the last few years, they've made sure everyone around the school is taken care of and we have plenty of resources to go to. They've made it their goal to make positivity the number one priority in the school and make sure everyone feels welcome. Teachers genuinely care for students and students often go to them for help when they need it. The only needed improvement is the level of parent involvement, as they're often uninformed about the events occurring at school throughout the year."

"I really like the amount of effort teachers and staff put forth in order to engage all 2000 students. The programs available are up to date and are set up in a way that is most convenient for the students. The school is large and clean, but I would reccommend a renovation done to the building."

"It can get a little clique because most of the students have gone to the same schools since elementary but it's not to bad. As with anywhere you get out what you put in"

"Eastern is a school for the average student. While Eastern offers clubs and organizations they are not used by the optimal amount of students. Teaching in the facility is okay. There are teachers that are committed and then there are others that are just working day to day. The student body is generally inclusive and possess a caring communal energy. If you looking for an average high school that does not represent the crown jewel of JCPS then this is the school for you."
