"The academics were above average in relations to preparing for a career. My succession was solely based on the AP and honors classes that I took while I was there. As an alumnus, I felt when I was accepted into the University of Louisville Sports Administration field with all the knowledge I needed. The faculty was amazing, and the sports programs were great."

"The only thing that I can find unpleasant about the school is the gossip and children who attend. The teaching is unlike any other and I feel I get the best education from here."

"Eastern High School had a good variety of courses for language majors, computer science majors, and math majors, but some of the content covered were very lackluster. Most of the teachers there, however, were very good at helping students and making sure you learned what you needed if you put the effort in. Other than dealing with high school students, this school is definitely recommended if you want a successful college entry."

"It is a good school, good teachers. Our teachers have good knowledge of what they teaching, they have interesting examples of real life experience. Food in our school is good as well. There are snacks provided even after school. I have taken an art class and as far as now I have gotten every art supply I had wanted for my project and I have also received good guidence from the teacher."

"I love Eastern High School. It is a very good school. It is not perfect, because no movie is perfect. However, the education is decent, and the majority of teachers do care about their students. However, the administration needs to pay less attention to dress code, and more on students. I would love for the school to have more opportunities for more students. Eastern, like many other top high schools in the district, are too focused on pushing people to college, and a good portion of the people do not belong in college. I believe that Eastern should have some vocational opportunities. They are starting on that, but we need to improve. I think that the school can expand, and accommodate all kinds of people. However, for what the school has, it is pretty decent. Everything is at a good level."
