"I feel as if the school caters to its athletics program more than anything else. While it's great to have great athletics, it diminishes academic accomplishments. I also feel as if some of the teachers don't truly care about the success of the kids. I believe the school will be greatly improved when the new buildings are built, and the school will have access to better resources."

"Morgan County High School has been the best high school program I have ever been a part of. Growing up in a small town has not only lead me to a great education, but also a life time of friendships. The teachers at Morgan County High School are all very involved in student's education. They will go out of their way to make sure the student has what they need to learn. If you do not understand something they will take time out of their day in order to help the student learn. Because of this I have exceeded in all of my classes."

"MCHS is a somewhat small school, but a very close knit environment. I do like the familiarity feeling of being a part of this student body. I am not happy with the pressure that is put on the students - through all grades - to know their college major early on and to take AP or IB classes. Most of the time, it feels as if we are taught only to take tests and not to know the actual information we are supposed to learn. It also feels like the system is much more interested in looking good to the rest of the world by bragging on the number of AP or IB students, than it is about the students themselves. There is also a horrible class divide in the school and it is easily seen that it's who you know that will get you farthest there. I am ready to graduate and move on from here."
