"It's a generally exciting school. Very active students, easy to relate to teachers, and very clean setting."

"Many students at my school are dedicated and hardworking to pursue their passion in the arts. Teachers put their best into what they teach and really help students understand the subjects"

"My four years at DASH have been a difficult yet amazing experience. The rigorous nature of the academics coupled with the creative freedom students have makes for a system that makes more than ready students to enter college and the work force. I was in an environment that helped me grow and excel in ways I never thought possible."

"DASH has been such an amazing experience for me. They are not like your average art magnet high school, and they do not mess around. But it is a lovely school. They prep you for college for more than half of your high school years by giving students art projects and assignments that are college level work. That way, we are already prepared for the real deal. We also have fun activities through the school years as well. Colleges from around the world visit our school to review student's portfolios before going to college. We also have other events like other high schools have. If there are students willing to work hard for what they love and want to do and get accepted to great colleges without worrying about their college readiness, then DASH is the school for you."

"If you want to go to an art college for a chance for more scholarship money, this is for you. However, if you don't, you are wasting your time. The academics are poor, students interested in academics are mostly self taught in order to pass their AP tests. The administration is rude, and doesn't listen to student body unless you bring your parent in to complain. Although on the bright side the environment causes students to propel themselves further in the art world with their competitive peers. Sometimes the environment can backfire though because the student teacher, and student to student relationship is very harsh and unfriendly from all the competition. There are many opportunities to succeed compared to a normal high school, but the school sees you as a potential investment, not a young artist looking for a higher education."
