"I like the courses offered and the learning environment. There are some really good teachers, especially for more advanced classes. There are some problems with the new building though, were the air conditioning will not work some days and this can be disruptive. Overall I have really enjoyed my time at MAST and have had a great high school experience."

"This School is very good to prepare you for College. At times, the rigor puts students under stress. The facility is great and brand new, even equipped with a 3D Printer. Class rooms with Ocean View. The Key Biscayne Community is relaxing. Smart boards in the class rooms. Great College advisors. Super PTA that really supports students and teachers. Many extra curricular activities."

"MAST Academy is an amazing school with lots of people to meet and new stories to tell. There was never a dull day in school. However, a middle school was recently added which I feel made the quality of the school drop because of how crowded it is now and just the feeling you get when walking in to MAST is different now because of all the small children walking around. Other than that the school is an interesting place to be what with all the people that make that place as wonderful and exciting as it is. I was able to go paddle boarding for P.E. and take different classes that aren't offered everywhere else. We have great views of the bay and the ocean from outdoor lunch area and new building and I have had the chance to walk the trail behind the school and even go to the beach just because it was a beautiful day. Honestly, I had an amazing experience during my four years of high school."

"I attended MAST Academy from 2010-2014 and it was an extremely stressful time in my life. Having to get up really early (around 5 AM) to then staying after school most days until 6 or 7pm and having a ton of homework and studying to do thanks to the multiple AP courses I took all added to this stress. In the end, it was a good stress, the type that pushes one forward into growth mentally. Afterwards, I attended FIU and found that my high school experience was actually far more difficult than this University and that was rather disappointing for me being at FIU, but also inspirational as to how incredibly well MAST truly prepares you for the future. Academically it was an amazing level up. Beyond that the nature around the school is amazing and I beleive this was a crucial key component to the overall experience because students surrounded by this type of environment will undoubtedly be happier and more engaged since they are more in tune with the natural world."

"MAST Academy is a decaying image of what it once was. Right now, MAST Academy is #13 in Florida, 7 less than last year. I think it's because Key Byscane takes over of this school. They are currently trying to forcefully fit in as many children in MAST Academy as they possibly can, no matter what it takes. This includes lowering the GPA from 3.0 in my freshman year to 2.7 in my senior year. I've even heard rumors that the school is going to lower it to 2.5 this following year. This brings me to my next point; rumors are more accurate and informative than the actual school administration. We were all just left in the dark 90% of the time. All the good teachers are slowly leaving the school, so good luck. The safety of this school is going down hill, as much as bullying happening outside. Only a matter of time for them to happen in school. Oh, and the food is slowly getting worse with little variety. At least I was prepared for college and the drug scene was pretty low key."
