"Teachers do not have control over students"

"I like some of the teachers because if you gain a relationship with them, they will help you out and it makes it easier to accomplish the work. You have to draw a boundary with some of them, but overall they are nice. Most of them know what they are doing and others just want to make your life difficult."

"I didn't really like the experience I had in this school. You are either a blind sheep or a wolf (if that makes any sense). This school has layers of religious intolerance and some teacher have a tendency to cross the student-professor boundaries. They don't practice what they preach and everything religious is mandatory, like bible class and chapel."

"Because this is a religious based school, their main focus is not really on grades, but your religious relationship. Some of the teacher really do care about you if you let them. A few teachers are unnecessarily hard on you trying to "prepare you for the real world". The real world is a lot less difficult than what they tell you. Classes are easy if you try your best. The counselor/librarian helps a bit when you know what you want to do for college and the school takes students to college fairs."

"My school has an emphasis on education but the student sometimes slack off and stay that way. I believe that my school should find a way to improve students' drive to succeed. The workload is not too much but students see it that way because of laziness. We don't have many special study options and any study groups we want to have have to be arranged ourselves. We have many popular classes: gymnastics, outdoor education, home economics, that the students enjoy."
