"I was at George Washington in the IB program. While my mental health is extremely questionable, I know that I am getting an excellent education. I've been doing Theatre here for all 4 years and it is a fairly good program. I am the Vice President of the Thespian Club, the Co-Captain of the Improv team, and I'm directing the Fall show, so I'm quite a busy student. It is exhausting, however, not unmanageable, to do a lot and balance school."

"I enjoyed a lot about George Washington. The mid-week block days were nice, I had some really great teachers, and I was grateful for the availability of the IB program. The clubs GW offered that I was a part of were integral to my positive experiences at school, and the school's involvement in the arts, at least early in my high school years, was an amazing part of that. On the other hand, though, there was a fair amount left to be desired. The rift between IB and Traditional programs was not just noticeable, but often problematic. There were issues between administration and student body in terms of priorities (such as admin's decision to repaint the school when our arts programs could have used that money much more positively). In my final year, as well, we had ended up with split lunches (split between under and upperclassmen) that caused sbig logistical problems for many clubs and groups that held their meetings at lunch."

"Such a diverse school! Loved the environment! Allowed me to meet a lot of amazing people. I went there for all four years of my high school experience and had so much fun getting to know my class. The only problem we had faced as a school was being united. The school is divided between IB, AP/honors and traditional. Due to the division in programs the barriers between were still there."

"George washington high school is a very good school to go to if you need extra help and one on one learning. Also, they make sure that everyone trys to follow the rules. They don't accept bullying or any of thay which i really liked. I had a very fun time in their sports and meeting new people all around."

"Well I like my school because it has a lot of diversity, which makes it more comfortable for me to learn and be a part of the school. There are also a lot of very nice and caring teachers in my school, which help me be more prepared for college and life ahead. One thing that I really like was being a part of AVID college prep. I say this because it has helped me maintain good grades and it also helps prepare for college at an early time."
